bio

Bought first camera at 11 on the boardwalk in Atlantic City, same day I saw the Beatles’ movie “Help” in 1965.
Next year acquired first paper route, starting a long career in newspaper biz. Able to buy first car at 17, a 65 Comet Cyclone GT HiPo 289 4-speed, with money from paper routes. Career as a grease monkey begins.
After high school drove a truck, worked in an auto body, played drums in rock bands that never became famous, worked as a machinist, and started building, restoring musclecars (Camaros, Chevelles, Corvettes) while working as a newspaper /magazine photographer for twenty-five years, twenty-two at my hometown newspaper, the Philadelphia Inquirer.
This site combines two passions: photography and cars. The car passion started years before the photography, but both continue.
All photographs were shot with Leica cameras on Kodachrome and Tri-X films, with a few Nikon digital.
Currently racing a factory stock Cortez Silver 1969 Camaro L78 SS396.
Thanks for the visit.
